Terms of use

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use govern your access to the AirsPad software and the website at airspad.com. By downloading, installing, or using AirsPad, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the software or website.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you use AirsPad on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

4. Software license

Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use AirsPad for controlling computers that you own or are authorized to control.

5. Lawful use

You may use AirsPad only for lawful purposes. You must not use the software to access, monitor, or control any computer, account, or network without permission.

6. User responsibilities

You are responsible for the devices you connect, the networks you use, firewall and permission settings, and for safeguarding pairing codes and credentials stored on your devices.

7. Device access authorization

AirsPad enables a phone to send pointer and keyboard input to a computer. You must only control devices you own or for which you have explicit authorization.

8. Remote control responsibility

Actions performed through AirsPad occur on the controlled computer as if local input were used. You accept responsibility for those actions, including changes to files, settings, or system state.

9. Network and device security

Use trusted local networks. Keep receivers and phones updated when updates are available. Remove paired devices you no longer need. Do not disable operating-system security features to install preview builds.

10. Intellectual property

AirsPad, its branding, and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the software to you.

11. Third-party components

AirsPad may include third-party or open-source components subject to their own licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to the corresponding components.

12. Updates

We may provide updates, replacements, or new builds. Some updates may be required for continued compatibility or security. Website materials may change as the product evolves.

13. Availability

The website and downloads are provided on an as-available basis. Local network conditions, firewalls, OS policies, and device differences may affect functionality.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AirsPad and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the software or website.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

Except where prohibited by law, AirsPad and the website are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Preview builds (including unsigned macOS packages) may be unstable or blocked by system security.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on airspad.com. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Termination

You may stop using AirsPad at any time by uninstalling the software and deleting local data. We may refuse or suspend distribution of builds that pose security or abuse risks.
